I’m popping into your inbox again to deliver a surprise bonus handprint craft this month! This one is a little different... and very close to my heart. It features a sweet little character named Alex, sailing on a boat he made himself, with a motivational quote for your kiddos: You can download the free handprint craft here: This one is close to my heart because it was inspired by something special my husband has been working on. He recently wrote and self-published a children’s book, “Alex and the Sea of Possibilities.” He dedicated it to our two boys and reads it to them at bedtime. :) The message behind it is something we care deeply about as parents. We want our boys to:
Failure means that they tried something and learned something... and they should be proud of that! So, to reinforce that lesson for them, the heart of his book is simple: We are always talking about this in our home because we believe it will set them up for success, so it felt really special to turn it into both a story and a keepsake craft you can make with your kids too. :) I hope you're able to discuss this theme with your kiddos or students while you make this craft!
