I’m popping into your inbox again to deliver a surprise bonus handprint craft this month! This one is a little different... and very close to my heart. It features a sweet little character named Alex, sailing on a boat he made himself, with a motivational quote for your kiddos: You can download the free handprint craft here: This one is close to my heart because it was inspired by something special my husband has been working on. He recently wrote and self-published a children’s book, “Alex and the Sea of Possibilities.” He dedicated it to our two boys and reads it to them at bedtime. :) The message behind it is something we care deeply about as parents. Failure means that they tried something and learned something... and they should be proud of that! So, to reinforce that lesson for them, the heart of his book is simple: We are always talking about this in our home because we believe it will set them up for success, so it felt really special to turn it into both a story and a keepsake craft you can make with your kids too. :) I hope you're able to discuss this theme with your kiddos or students while you make this craft!
